I'm not sure about these. The old NES had a 4 player adapter.

Also, depending on when 10 player bomberman came out, there may have been others(Sega had a 16x9 screen arcade version of Virtua Racing, and Konami had the 6 player dual screen Xmen arcade).

Hehe but it also cost $300 when it launched and the screen was only 2.6" very good tech though.
 
Yea. I think the master system was actually the first multi tap.

But how about the first talking console. Intellivison. Great system. I still play sea battle. Its so great.
