What's the difference between the 4161, 4163 and 4164 models?
Do they write double-layer (9gb)?

LG's site says nothing about it!!! Couldn't find relevant info in google either.

The 4163b writes DVD+R DL, dunno 'bout the other ones.

It depends on the model. Not all DVD players support DVD+R DL or even DVD+R for that matter. You'd have to check to see the types your DVD player is compatible with.
