Killzone: first pics

So why bring up the fact it has been in development for over a year????
Point out where I brought that up. The game has been in development for a lot more than one year, but that's irrelevant.

Heh you said months now you're backpedaling
I said one month because I didn't take into account that material has to be given to magazine 15-30 days in advance for it to be published. When I realized that, it was more than obvious that they could theoretically have only few days to make the change to their game and submit the material to magazine - all that is according to the timeline where I took into account only myself as an eyewitness, because at the time I didn't have any better proof.

Right now, it simply doesn't matter either way - read TTP's post above. The game was unveiled to selected few during January 2003 and it looked the same.

Since NDA has been lifted...what's the problem? Why is it so difficult to produce these alledged screenshots that show the style was the same back then????

i'm afraid not, so feel free to continue that psychopatic gesticulation.

As my claim are truth ,you just look like a somewhat paranoid fool.(no offense)

Ok so I ask you when can we see them???

(no offense taken) I'm not paranoid though ;)

OK, here's CGI pic that was from that same video unveiled in January this year, and that I first saw two months ago when TTP sent it to me:

killzone2.jpg

Jin Roh influence is obvious, although Jin Roh guys have more 'nazi' looking helmets and bigger armor suits, while these look more like modern looking soldiers with lighter armor suits.

I also said that HL2 was THE fps that introduced this specific style of graphics ie characters with these masks + color palette.

the first ot use this look maybe. solely responsable for the propagation of muddy masked solders...nah I can;t see it.

plus isn't even remotely possible that these styles exist outside Videogames and thus are the REAL inspiration (heh all art is plagarism) beside this?

Those guys had blue lights on the eyes, no pipes, no helmet and were generally fairly different.

Ah OK, now that the picture is there, my post just states the obvious :)

Ok so I ask you when can we see them???

Probably never since Only the art didn't change (much) since.A big part of the pre-tech was a "hack" built on Unrealed. Then came the first iterations of their geomod-like (dynamic CSG) engine, then their own editor.

The "vision" of Kin/Killzone as it is visualy now ,was in them.

Ok guys I surrender!!!!! :p :devilish: o_O

You guys have convinced me...thanks TTP for giving the go ahead to revealing the CGI screenshot much appreciation ;)

I think it's great that finally more of the evidence have been revealed even though the thread had diverted on a tangent so it wasn't so bad afterall was it?

Cool thanks for that bit of info...wow a lot of inside information there. ;) :D

BTW anybody have screenshots of the CGI in RE2 where those masked soldiers in the sewers gets wasted? ;)

Or how about those soldiers on the train in RE Zero?

8 pages of bickering about 5 schreenshots, some things never change... ;)

Anyway, I think the game looks good so far and has surely got me interested. Hope we'll get to see more media on this title in the near future! Now if they would just change the name again, 'Killzone' sounds incredibly stupid IMO.

We should all be so lucky it only took 8 pages to convince PC that he'd been wrong all along (JUST LIKE WE SAID THE WHOLE GODDAMN TIME)...
Stop rubbing it in ... let's not spoil this moment of peace, PLEASE!

Discuss the game? What for?
Anyway, I'll quote TTP (sorry man, just to keep this alive):

Excatly. You play as a team of 4 soldiers, but only in the shoes of one of them. The others are IA controlled. You cannot switch from one collegue to the other during the game.

Developers hope this will offer a different game experience every time the player starts the game with a different character. At the moment, there a two ready. A commando and a female stealth-specialist character.
