I have to say, I'm starting to get impressed with iPhone games. They look great, and the control methods are quickly improving also. Take for instance Dungeon Hunter. It has an analog joystick and a few buttons control method that seems to work really well and pretty precise.
Glow hockey is also really charming, just for its looks already and it being two player:
And of course there are these little epic games like Civ Rev Lite:
And one of the recent podcast favorites, Spider
