"Infinium Labs ready to haul HardOCP into court"

It's a bit their own fault IMO. First presenting a product with a crappy website, then giving away an underwhelming list with old PC games,...

Well, you know there's something shady going on when Kevin Bachus joins the company.

In what way is that shady, or were you being ironic? :)

Anyway, it seems Bachus stands behind the company line here and says outright the HOCP article is false and defamatory and all that. I was actually expecting that guy to distance himself from the company, or maybe even resign, but seems he's intent on staying on until the ship goes down in flames. It's hard to criticize such dedication! ;)

The article was written so long ago, it is completely stupid for them to dredge it up. I had never heard anythhign about it, but I figured long ago it was basically a operation to get investors money and then walk away... now I am even more sure that was the original plan. Perhaps they will end up with a demo system, but do you think anything will actually be releases and make nay money? I doubt it.

The front figure's pattern of crashing and burning companies and racking up huge losses makes it painfully obvious the intention behind Infinium Labs is to get his grubby mitts on as much of other people's hard-earned cash as he can, live the high life for as long as it lasts, and then walk away from the smoldering wreckage.

Now, Jvd, you can sue MY ass for saying so, but that's the honest-to-god TRUTH, you either already know it or SHOULD know it! :) There never was any real chance of this thing becoming a commercially viable product and everybody with half a clue figured that out long ago. Unfortunately this does not include those original investors who were dim-witted enough to sink money into this thing to begin with, hehe.

Wonder whose money this Roberts person is burning right now... Hehe! :devilish:

I wasn't being ironic. Microsoft, WildTangent, Capital Entertainment Group and now Infinium Labs. Not only does the guy works for crappy companies but he seems to be on a mission to destroy the console industry. He looks like an asshole too.

Lol, smart move Infinium Labs - sue HardOCP and draw the internet's attention to an article nobody knew about, or knew and forgot - but not anymore. ;) They've just become the collective laughingstock of the gaming community.

You know the sh*t has hit the fan when the news is on Slashdot too.

Hm, I remember when he left MS, but did he really have time to work at all those other companies first before coming to Infinum? Wildtangent isn't such a bad company, after all, you don't HAVE to install their spyware-ridden games and winamp plugins. Well, at least I heard they're spyware-ridden, but I don't really know since I don't care about the stuff they make. Never heard of this Capital Entertainment Group, in what way are they so horrible?

Also, I don't really care what he looks like. If one went purely by looks, we'd all have written off Bill Gates long ago as being a nerdy loser who'd never amount to anything important.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Capital Entertainment Group wasn't so much bad as it was a crappy attempt at a production company by a bunch of losers... Seamus Blackley, one of the other people behind Xbox, was also one of the founders.

Yeah, saw it on HOCP yesterday before I went to bed... The old saying, "Don't mess with Texas!" comes to mind, hahaha.

Considering HOCP seems to have some pretty well-to-do readers, I guess Kyle can count on his readership to help out with any steep lawyer bills that drops down his mailbox.

Hahaha, I bet Roberts did not see THIS coming.
