I just found out I was using quadtrees without even knowing it.
Man I feel dumb.
I read about it in my book, then on the net and then went into my code because I felt I was doing the EXACT same thing and yes I was.
FFS do you guys want to me write a paper on all my knowledge of how I do things in general computer science and you guys can tell me if I've invented something new or I've thought up something already invented?
Just like to add:
I've gone one step further than what the article or book states.
I keep a reference of which part of the tree I'm in and render only the reference.
Isn't this smarter than searching the entire bloody thing?
