But yeah, that's a bit annoying. I'm looking at 30-holes atm, but the ones I like are without a zipper. Now talk about some serious work there! You can install a zipper for peanuts though, makes life easier...

Nothing will make me give up my ugly grampa moccasins, NOTHING!!!!

My feet are comfy for the first time in years, my toes even stopped tingling yesterday and I've just been enjoying wiggling them.

Huh? Sure, that's what I wear when I go out. And many people I know. If you ever happen to be here, be sure to check out "Rockfabrik" in Ludwigsburg fridays. Feels like that gothic disco scene from Matrix 3 kinda ;)
 
That is decidedly a difference between Europe and the US.

Nobody goes out in public dressed like that. Ok, maybe they did 5 years ago when Maralyn Manson was the rage, but now its just...ummm....freakish and out of style, instead of just freakish.

Heh, that's got some 30+ year tradition in europe, it's not just a temporarely fashion gag. It got really big in Cure and Depeche Mode big times, let alone The Sisters Of Mercy fans and such.

Of course, people don't go to work like that, or to a wedding ceremony or such ;)
