And that list is about to grow too.

For me atlest Okami, Xenosaga3, FF13, GOW2 and probably more will surely join my list

The new Burnout will also be of great interest to many

Actually there are more. I've been swapping games with my brother, among them more Resident Evil games, the James Bond games, the Factor 5 games, Viewtiful Joe etc.
I've only just recently started growing my PS2 library, so the Gamecube is the system that counts here.

i have just over 30 games for my GC, split about half and half between bargin bin/used and new/full retail. that's down from about 130 games i had in the previous gen's primary console (saturn). alto, i have about 40 Dreamcast games, but i'm not sure i would count them because it was more of a transitional, mid-generation console and has ceased being my primary console long ago.

nowadays i'm much more of a PC gamer. please don't make me count my PC games.

(PS2): 30 (still about 5 more to be bought)

    Retail, full price (60-75€): ~10
(mainly Silent Hills, Final Fantasies, and Legacy of Kains)

    Retail, bargain bin (20-35€): ~20
(if the game isn't called Silent Hill or Final Fantasy, I usually wait for the price to go down to 35€)

    Used: none

Around 40 games for gamecube I believe, most bought at full price. Generally, I bought a game every 1.5 months.

My previous system with the most amount of games was dreamcast with around 30, but many bought on sale or used, plus most dreamcast games were only $40 anyhow.
Then n64 at around 20, most new. Well, I think I had a lot of used NES games (most bought for under $10 cart only) but I don't remember how many.

However, the difference was my n64 and dreamcast buying also included a lot of PC buying, but my PC game buying has greatly downgraded over the years, and was at its peak during the n64 years. Though as my disposable income has increased, I suppose my game time had increased as well, though my free time has decreased significantly. Don't really buy many games anymore, not nearly as quick as I used to. I don't really need to find things to occupy my time now, so I tend to only buy games that are quick and really fun for the short amount of time they last.

The PS2 was (is!) such an awesome system. It completly consumed my playtime last hardware cycle. I got around to the big XBox and GC games... but despite purchasing around 5 xbox and 15 Gamecube games, I never actually bought the systems. I would usually borrow them from friends who where busy with their PS2s.

I must have purchased at least a hundred PS2 games. Many new, but mostly used. If you get used to the trade in promotions they often do at the big game chains, you can actually get pretty good return on the games you're done with.
