To be relased by Sega in the States this September.

As undead warrior Raiko, you must stop an undead army bent on world destruction. Using 30 weapons and 12 different magics, Raiko will battle the ultimate forces of evil across 25 levels in ancient Japan.

Featuring fully destructible environments, gamers will enjoy smashing walls, houses, staircases, mountains, trees and more as they hack, slash, and zap beasts from the netherworld



From Software you say? The team that made MuYUCKumo? Well do NOT worry since those who have completed the Japanese version have all praise for the game. Sure there are some slight issues with the camera[ which high speed action doesnt have ;) ], but the whole game does indeed rocKOXOR!

It is a combination of the crazy anime-mayhem of ZOE2, the sword slashing of Shinobi, the crazy combo of DMC and the artistic visual + audio of PDO! All coming together and garnished with a touch of RPG elements. It cannot get any more Japanese than that! :oops:

So do buy the game, show MS that Xbox gamers do buy Japanese games. Show them that you want Japanese games. :oops:
 
NICE.... i mean, the explosions look nice, but i really dont think those are all single particles, they're probably small polygons with an alpha texture applied to. i mean, between the 2 options it would be the most reasonable to use in terms of performance and the result wouldn't be that much different unless the polygons are relatively big, in which case it would look like crap in motion....

whats with the last low res shot?

chap, i meant to ask u this... do u ever use a controller? u know, that thing u need in order to PLAY games.... u must have gotten a special bargain with your xbox: XBOX and Video cable, without controllers, 20% discount..... that's all u need really to look at the games, isn't it... :LOL: :LOL:
 
Some pretty nice lighting and illumination effects going on there :oops: ....but what's up with the apparent blur-tastic textures and aliasing? ;)

i'm beginning to wonder whether u really have controllers to PLAY games.....
really, i've got nothing against this game, it looks OK (textures could be much much better), my problem is YOU, chap... :LOL:

SIGH! IF i wanted to whore a graphics game, there are better candidates than OTOGI. OTOGI is a fine looking game, but the main reasons i highlighted this game here, because i am hearing great things about the GAMEPLAY.

The funny thing is, apart from posting screens, i talked lil about the graphics of the game. I was talking about the GAMEPLAY aspect. :rolleyes:
Now not to say this game graphics wont rock, but since i only seen videos, i hope those who played it can come in and comment.

OWNED! NEXT! :oops:
