Could have bought it on ps4 €10 cheaper but then everytime i would put the disc back in the console it would try to install the ps4 version, just like it does with my CP77 disc.
just one time ? I bought ps4 version ;d when I start console with forbiden west cd in I have beside ps5 game icon ps4 cd icon but copying is paused automaticaly

I had no idea the game at 60fps actually looked worse than the first game. What have they done here? This looks awful indeed. One of the worse image quality on PS5 is now a Guerrilla game?

I sweared by playing this one in performance mode (60fps). Even as a pc gamer, i went on with the quality mode, its 30fps but it looks much better. The 60fps mode drops image quality, maybe visual settings aswell (i think DF noted that).
Anyway, nothing wrong with the 30fps mode, and within the expectations for the given hardware. Its good they didnt go for ray tracing.

Amazing screens. Stills dont do this game justice, it needs to be played or seen in motion. Just going by screens, it doesnt really look that far apart from HZD. But in motion its a different beast, theres just so much going on, and the details/amount of assets is easier to appreciate. Best looking game on PS5 so far.

Even in stills, the skin shader, the hair shader, the volumetric fog, the absurd foliage density -- some of those shots are from unflattering locations, but overall if you told me this was running on something twice as powerful as the ps5 i wouldn't be disappointed. There are cross gen limitations, but the stuff that it's easy to turn up independently are in a whole different universe than hzd.

Indeed. I think GG might the right decisions. Twice as powerfull, yea, but then were talking a mid-gen refresh, i'd expect more from the performance mode ofcourse. Perhaps RT if were talking 2x PS5 performance, thats like a mid-gen refresh or perhaps another gen.

rabbit got upgraded from peasant eye texture to full 3d eye, now it's harder to get them
Hunting seems to surrender the needed loot much quicker than the original game. I remember hunting some animals almost to extinction to get the covered purple loot I needed for crafting. :yep2: The ability to add missing items in crafting recipes to jobs is really helpful.

Also interesting is that they note they are looking into the other graphical issues that our TV expert above also noted. And there is some humor in the patch notes:

“A rogue Tallneck near The Sand of the Sentinels that would sometimes change the direction of its route has been disciplined.”
