As a representative of the monogamists present I just gotta say this is one of the reasons why I am a monogamist.

A one-on-one relationship is hard enough work, more than that is just looking for trouble....IMHO.

The relationship is still one-on-one as well, just sex sometimes isn't

yes i've been using the internet to try and get laid for YEARS. i actually did once. she was ugly, fat, had nasty teeth, and smelled HORRIBLE though. yech. the other two times were people i met in high school. now that i think of it it's kinda funny- i dated one (call her L), she broke up with me but while we were dating i met her best friend (call her B). then me and B started dating and within hours we did it. L moved away not long after and B and I broke up. I never heard from L again but B and I eventually became really god friends. One time, B mentioned talking to L and I was like "omg she's back in town!?" and B says "yeah she has been for a few months" and so then B introduces L to me again.
