I remember when I was under 50 posts, I hated it that you couldn't edit your posts.

On a sidenote, I'd love to see that preview, if anyone gets theyr hands on scans or anything (with as good quality as possible), feel free to drop them to my PM. ;)

Oh, too bad. It would be much more unique for them to be fighting on top of a cheesecake.

Or with volumetric blancmange tracing, and real-time ice-cream flavour changes.

"On PS2 you could only have a few dozen characters onscreen at a time. With the power of PS3 you can have hundreds and thousands on screen in 1080p and 60fps!"

Not quiet for me, I can tell you... Don't worry we haven't spent the whole time playing launch games on our dev or test kits...

As for demos and screens and the like... That entirely down to Sony PR, they have strategies and the like (I saw a presentation just the other day by our Sony marketting guy).

So when can we expect a playable demo (an updated one that is NOT from E3 2006) at the Playstation Store? Come on, you guys can't let Motorstorm grab all the glory!!! Motorstorm demo = SO AWESOME.

    SO

    AWESOME

I wish you could influence Sony's marketing guys to read videogame forums. Lots of people are starting to lose faith/interest in Heavenly Sword due to never hearing anything about it.

well since there aren't a whole lot of PS3 games released on the most wanted list yet, I'm sure as soon as it hits people will go crazy for it regardless of the pre-release hype.

I thought I read that a recent list out of Sony had it pegged for Fall 07. Someone from NT can correct me if I'm wrong though.

It'd be sweet to have it earlier than that, but not if it isn't ready.

Sure right now there aren't any decent games on PS3 (save Resistance perhaps), but come March and the competition will be fierce. There are at least 2 March titles in the list that I want more than Heavenly Sword right now. So a solid marketing push is imperative.

Q3? How much more time do they need? No new demo at TGS, no new demo at Gamer's Day, I really hope they don't let this one slip under people's radar.

outside of MotorStorm and Warhawk.... not much there in the HS level of quality.

most of those titles are either already released (or will be) on another system or are just so-so in comparison to HS. My only point was, HS is so far, head and shoulders above MOST of the PS3 games coming in the next year, and all games currently available on the PS3.

Releasing info to hype the game will be fine even if they wait until the last 60 days before release.

Do you really think that's a viable strategy?

sure... it's sometimes better to show nothing and then WOW them when the product is ready.... people will not forget this title from E3. It will shine when the time comes.

Duude, did you not see Virtual Fighter 5 on that list? It's an eagerly awaited game, especially in Japan. It's the fifth installment in one of the biggest (and IMO the best) fighting franchises. It's at least as big (probably) bigger than HS.
