I was just on my local food store, and as usual, its some gadget from a cheap brand for sale.
What was for sale now, was a DVD player, who was adverticed as a HIGH DEFINITION DVD player.
I looked on the specs, and, it was simply a plain dvd player, outputing 720 i/p 1080 i/p, and featuring a "32bits risc processor", and other stuff to make it work.
To make a demonstration, they had a TV made in 1960 or so beside, oldest TV ive ever seen, too bad the tech guy wasnt there today, so nothing was turned on. It had a huge LCD tv using component cables to show HD images on, using component cables.
