Gran Turismo 6

So... in the upcoming PS4/XB1 era, I will still see the shimmering due to shader aliasing ? Is there really no way to reduce it ?

New 1080p gameplay !!!
Some nice driving at times. The only distracting thing is the shadows, but since I would never get this game to play it on a PS3 but on a PS4 -where hopefully that issue will be fixed- it doesn't bother me at all.

This is the game that would make me buy a PS4, all the more so now that I have a 3D TV and one of the things that Forza users envied about GT on the PS3 was the 3D support.

And I think it is a very important/interesting feature.

I think that's the worst off-screen footage I've ever seen. Makes it look like a 1980s OutRun with solid blocks of colour!

Yeah, pretty bad. And filmed with a camera that's zoomed in, clearly. But just good enough to see that the trees look good.

Nice idea with the star fields. :)

So what happens when you crash into other vehicles on the moon? ;)

Since you're only going 12.8MP/h with that lunar lander, I hope for some cool jumps and gravity effects ... :D

Part of the 'Course Maker' mode in Gran Turismo 6 involves a GPS mobile app that lets you, the player, drive a course in real life and upload said course to the game itself. Yes, you read that correctly.

From gran-turismo.com, "... we will add the possiblity to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated track will be available in the game as playable content."

Hmm... interesting...

Course Maker

This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.

Data Logger

This feature allows you to analyse your saved replay data to show Speed, Engine RPM, Throttle Input, Gear Position, Steering Angle, etc. in a graphical format. This feature will be added in a future update.

GPS Visualiser

In a future update, we will add the GPS Visualiser. This is a feature that allows you to import Controller Area Network (CAN), used to regulate automobile systems, and GPS coordinate data from a real life car into Gran Turismo 6, and visualise the data as a replay in the game. The feature is planned to be compatible with the Toyota Motor Corporation’s CAN-Gateway ECU.

...

What's missing is the map overlay, but it's a good start.
