Looks pretty damned big. I kinda wonder where this tiny little company is getting the R&D dollars to develop this. Despite the fact that it's probably destined to failure, it's surprising that a small company like this is able to finance a project that, at least in paper specs, is pretty competitive with NDS and PSP.

Updating the machine's design also let them upgrade the graphics processing. Competitive performance is mentioned; a new GoForce, just a higher clock, or an MBX solution this time perhaps.

Is the physical design a joke? Man...that clearly looks like another handheld that was just released in the UK. Just switched around here and there. I understand maybe the design in general is good for game playing...but what i'm seeing there is a little to much.

How's compatibilty with the older system though? I mean, it may have higher specs but if it's to launch concurrently with the exisitng Gizmondo it's fragmenting what's surely already a small user base. And why didn't they include the 4" screen and stuff in the first version, seeing as it was ages coming but this latest release is a rapid advance. Techwise it's not a bad bit of kit, but pricey and looking bigger even than PSP.

You know, if this really is more powerful than the PSP, and Microsoft ever plans to get into the handheld race, it wouldn't be a bad idea for MS to just buy Tiger Telemetrics, (or whatever they're called), redesign the GV2 to be a little smaller, throw a bunch of developer support behind it, and call it the "X Boy", or something like that. It already runs on an MS OS, and if there was a company that could actually give it something approaching an acceptable level of development, it might not actually be that bad a player.
