Ghost Recon: AW - Pushed Back!

The new MP footage looked REALLY solid. I have high hopes for this title. Hopefully they just keep working on it until they get it right. From what someone else had said GR is a pretty big Xbox series, it would be a shame if it was rushed.

More than enough good titles coming out this fall. Getting a cleaned up GR3 in the winter in the slow period (and standing out then with extra good press) is better than having a poor showing this fall getting lost in the growd if launch titles.

GR the first one was kinda cool, cause it was more squad based and tactical. Which was something new at the time. The rest are just shooters, totally 'meh' IMO.

This new one looks to be taking it to a new level though, that's why I've been looking forward to it.

I think it's a good move as well. With a February release there may not be much else coming out so that could help sales.

Several titles can and shot be pushed back... For example, I dont think PDZ should be released until its done, which to be fair, will be Christmas 05 at the earliest...Rather get a GREAT Kameo out for launch, then set the joint teams to work to improve and finish PDZ for XMAS.

Word. PD0 needs 2 or 3 months to overhaul everysingle cut scene, and the character models of the enemies.

However, will that really affect gameplay? Not really, so I guess it will still be fun. It's just a shame to see a game that 5 years in development, come out only 80% or 90% baked.

If PDZ plays well they should release it. They might as well bite the bullet and start fresh on a new engine for their next title (one not designed with the Xbox in mind!) You can only pretty an ugly duck so much. Trying to slaps shaders on a game designed with the NV2A in mind may be a nice coat of paint, but Next-Gen is about getting a new house. No measure of home repairs will ever make it next gen graphically. They have a good idea of the hardware now, at least basics. Design your basic renderer and target the effects you want, color pallete, and get some art direction going and then go from there. Trying to upgrade an old engine and an art design fitted to the limitations of Xbox1 is a losing battle.

But that shoud not hold back the gameplay.

Pdz looks great . THe cut scenes suck but the game itself looks really good and would make a great launch title . So i don't know why everyone is knocking it . It esp looks to be a crazy fun multiplayer fps that supports 32 players at once.

The only other fps at launch now would be cod 2 and that supports 8 players on the box .

GRAW looks like a complete crap, this game needs at least 1 year more of developement time. Sick on you, Ubi.

Oh it's not that bad, it just looks too close to the XBOX version, not a full jump up.

I think ubisoft realized fans were very dissapointed that they weren't delivering what he promised at E3 so they decided to do it right, good call.

Scoob, when I saw that nintento-like video I went in the state of shock. Compare that to Kameo and World Airforce, it is horror. Well I am glad that Ubi delayed the game, but they did the same with Lockdown and look what happened. X2 is the best console on Earth, I will not tolerate that.

I agree this delay is good news. It's nice to see they're taking the time to make sure the XB360 GRAW version will live up to the Ghost Recon legacy. Ironically, delaying the launch to February may actually increase sales by a hefty margin on the XB360. So many decent games are going to be available at launch, that a non-Tom Clancy fan would overlook Ghost Recon. Now releasing a triple A title post launch, when many gamers will be really hungry for a new game, could help draw in new fans that wouldn't have considered Ghost Recon at launch.

Good. GRAW was once my anticipated game, but after Xo5...man what happened! Good thing that it got delayed. It's actually good for MS, helps having more great games near ps3 launch.

people will like the game more when they see the game looks better than its cutscenes
