Cryptark is a 2D sci-fi shooter where you take on the role of a heavily armed privateer seeking to earn government contracts by boarding deadly alien space-hulks. It's up to you to strategize a plan of attack, pick an equipment loadout, and destroy the central core to be victorious.
New Epic games available (look up for titles). Next week's games are pretty cool: FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch (never in a paid bundle but a previous Epic freebie) and Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion (previously bundled and a Prime game, but new to Epic). Interesting that Tandem was also a Prime game at the same time as Turnip Boy. Once a game gets bundled, it tends to make the rounds.
There could be some weirdness with the claim button javascript. That link may show one if the front page doesn’t. Check the game page to see if it’s in your library.
A bit far off but,
Bloodborne Kart will be released for free on PC on January 31st
Lilith Walther has announced that their free kart game for PC, Bloodborne Kart, will be released on PC on January 31, 2024.
Bloodborne Kart will feature 12 racers and 16 maps. All maps and racers will be based on environments and characters from Bloodborne. This kart racer will also have a full single-player campaign mode, as well as local split-screen multiplayer and a VS Battle Mode. Oh, and there will be some boss fights in it.
Golden Light tempfree on EGS. Next week is Earthlock and Surviving the Aftermath. They didn't end up giving away FIST last week. Maybe they're saving it for their Christmas push.
Wait there are people who dont own Half life ?
Fun Fact : The retail version of HL had a bug when you uninstalled it it would also delete the parent folder, not a problem if you installed into the default location c:\program files\sierra\half life
it would just delete the sierra folder but heaven forbid if you installed it into c:\half life.
Fun Fact 2: I installed Half Life on my pc in 1998. The original install is still on my pc today (patched to 1.6 the last patch to not require steam)
ps: Opposing Force is only £0.60 buy it......
I see there's some input changes with the new Half Life update. Does it play reasonably well now? I tried it like a year ago for the first time in many years and it just felt absolutely awful to play in terms of controls(keyboard+mouse).
Get Styx: Shards of Darkness for Free in GOG Black Friday Sale
This is for keeps, but you must act by Friday. The game includes a note about this version: "This version on GOG does not include Co-op features. As a token of apology, we offer the DLC 'Akenash set' as a part of every purchase."
Got it but not sure if I'll actually install it. I'm on the verge of clicking go on the discounted HL:Alyx you linked to though. Recently got a Quest 3 and I've never played it. Figure it should be pretty good on that headset.
