The video has been published a couple of days ago, and it is also on Youtube.

Beautiful new set of screenshots:

You are right, sorry... I saw those images posted as new here, and I was sure I hadn't seen some of them before:

I also checked at Xbox Wire afterwards because it is a site I like and the most recent pictures had been posted already too, and were different from the ones presented in the post you linked to and my recent post.

The X-Bow footage looks good. One minor nitpick is the weird fake ambient occlusion behind the vehicle looks off. Also the cockpit view of the Atom shows no ambient occlusion behind the front tire.

I need the gamersyde versions, real 1080p. The compression on YT and GS is awful.

EDIT: The last YT video has 3D support...

This picture got me intregued:

New pictures from Xbox Wire:

It shows a heavily motion blurred track on the background with a razor sharp car on it. Fair enough, but I'm surprised that it's shadow on the track is also razor sharp. This is what you would actually get with real world photography, or by simply bruteforcing your motion blur by temporal supersampling (shadow is moving with the camera, stays sharp on image) but it is not something easily replicated with most game engines because MB is done in post, effectivelly just blurring the already rendered and shaded frame, so the shadows of the car on the track would be blurred along with the track texture and geometry.

Is this just a nice feature of their renderer, a special trick reserved only for photo mode, or just straight out Bullshot?

F1 forgot to brake for the turn at the end of the trailer ...

Ok. Played Forza 5 for the first time in person today (leguna seca demo) and I must admit it's pretty impressive when you first see it. Online videos simply aren't doing next-gen any favors. Also wasn't expecting to get so much out of the rumble triggers, but they are extremely satisfying. Not just in Forza, but the FPS demo using them left me wanting more. Anyone know if COD or BF4 utilize them?

Aliasing?

Aliasing?

Not that I could tell along polygon edges. I was looking very closely for it. Image was super smooth. I was able to pick out some texture aliasing on high contrast elements at shallow angles to the viewport like white racing lines on the black track surface near the horizon. But even that was very minimal. I also was unable to spot any of the dot crawl present in the Alps direct feed video. Shadowing seemed more pronounced as well, where its almost non-existent in recent web videos.

Thanks for the impressions, Rockster. I think the game is going to be pretty much aliasing free, taking into account the native resolution and the fact that they are going to use some AA technique.

You can see here how the air intake from the compressor moves when you step on the accelerator. That's a nice touch.

CG quality right there....
The last screengrab could pass for a real life photo.

New video from IGN, Forza 5 the next gen difference. The great thing about this video is that it sums up what makes Forza 5 good, from the little we know about it.

Open Wheel race at Indianapolis video:

And another cool one, Atom at Silverstone.
