Far Cry on next gen machines..?

LOL I swear some of yall console fans would think pc games wouldnt looked good even if it looked real.Lets see thinks of doom 3 and how xbox fans was like wow this game will be best looking game on xbox by look at the pc pictures and then xbox pictures come out and it looks like crap and they then say they could have did better than that etc.Its kind of funny try playing over 16 people on a console it wont happen Not only because it want allow it but it would bog it down to much.

Naw i havent seen any halo 2 pictures .I played halo 1 on xbox it was fun and looked ok even tho it most sceens it laged like a bitch.Also since it was ported to pc grafix didnt change thats why i dont like ports from console to pc because it looks the same makes the game look shit when it could look better.

I looked at the pictures it looks better than halo one by some means but the walls are flat, textures are blurry and no top notch effects.Dont get me wroung its one of best looking games on xbox maybe but compareing that to hmm pc games is just messed up.Now if bungy would make it for pc it would make that look like shit..The detail i like just isnt in console games.When xbox came out now the games was close to pc games but they just couldnt run them at high res like u could on a pc and get high fps.Why u think they had to take alot of effects out of doom 3 because xbox couldnt handle it.The xbox has A 700 mhz celeron and a geforce 2 with some extra effects That is not enuff to do some of the computer games today.One thing that hurts xbox is 64 mb of memory.Thats more than likely gone to be best looking game u see on xbox untill xbox 2 comes out because the hardware is maxed out.Im sorry some of yall dont see my point but go back and look at some of the detial in little stuff in farcry and u will see.Also in them pics it doesnt take much to make a rebot look good than a human face etc.Also u can use some of that power of the videocard more because it runs games at like 800x600 with on computer farcry people run it at very high res.

Well i give up.I try to explain but i know yall just wont relize it.If a console was as powerufl as a pc it would cost atlest 1000 or so but anyways doom 3 should show u why it doesnt look the same as it is on pc because consoles cant handle the lighting and texture detail and also pluss if it was running on console at high res computer games run at it wouldnt run at all.Farcry to me is the best looking game there is along with doom 3 if u know how to look at the little effects thats in farcry like the walls they look like they are 3d and not flat and the mans face has detail and the ground is not flat looking with little holes in the ground.I know yall like your consoles i liked mine to before i sold it so not i dont have ethere pc or xbox to play but i know what oc hardware can do and console can but anyways nive debateing you yall.I wont argue with u no more and let u think what u want to hehe.

One more thing u see in that pic there is no shadow behide him when light is shineing on him.I guess they cut down shawdow detial to make him look better.Thats stuff im talking about.They are good doing tricks like that cutting some stuff down to make something else look better.Thats why far cry looks 10 times better and doom 3.Well im gone byes

And no, it's not a celeron. It's a 128kb P3-733. A cely have other cutdowns that the xcpu don't have. Again, google what the xbox hard is before making FUD.

Well my bad its a geforce 3 with few extra instuctions.blah.On them halo 2 pics hmm i looekd back and them and blah they really did shitty shawdowiing for stuff to in that game and lighting is normal.Also the other people u fight looks crappy compared to the guy witch means they took polys off then just to make the main person look better but i understand yall like xbox ad u have a right to but u should look past.Go look at doom 3 and it should tell u the diffrence between xbox and pc anyways

Looked at it can see texture block in the fair where they connect.The textures look plan no special effects.Another thing about games on other cosoles they dont supprt dx 9 effects so thats another thing they loose out of with far cry and all.Nothing impresses me with console games because pc games look 20 x better with lighting texture detial and farcry uses shadows in that game no other game uses at this time.I dont play no games at this time because i dont have a pc that can play games and i dont have a xbox no more because i sold it because i needed the money.The pics tho have no detail bad ligthing and bad shadows an nothing special geforce 3 level maybe like xbox but thats it.

Every now and then i look at console screen shots and yea consoles are ok i never said they wasnt why u think i had one.My point was that nothing on consoles can match pc games like farcry doom3 etc the hardware in consoles doesnt have enuff powerful them games have realtime lighting system they have dx 9 effects witch consoles cant do they do dx 8.0 and pluss they have low res textures and u never see any detial any anythng in the walls look flat and on halo two that pic i showed u the guy didnt even have a shadow behide him and thats crappy.Its like bungy did this.Lests cut this out and this lighhting out and make the gy look better.Like i said just geforce 3 gfs.Farcry will be comeing to consoles and it will be a reworked version and textures will be cut down and lighting will be cut down also and alot more stuff daw distence etc so dont expect other wise.This is lmy ast time i post on this subject because most of yall wouldnt lisen to anyone on the subject even if pc games looked like a movie.Anyone that knows pc hardware and the effects in games knows what im talking about and most of yall just in love with consoles so yall just think what u want to think and lisen to most people that have no id what they talking about.And u cant say im no console hater because i had xbox and i also play my friends.I just know pc hardware and what effects goes in computer games today.

Why not? We have as much right to call you a console hater, as you had to call the whole sub-forum uneducated console fanboys that can't tell the technical differences between PC and console games nowdays, even when we all have a PC, agree?

We aren't the ones who came out of the blue with a "better than you" attitude, and saying console games have NO detail, as you put it, which is not true. "Not as detailed as nowdays PC games", would be ok, but that will change in a year or two, when the new cycle starts (and history will repeat itself).

Anyway, this is the console section of the forum and, logically, all the topics being discussed here are and will be console related. In the end, when we say "this game looks good" it's in relation to the system capabilities. No, I'm sorry, but we aren't blind; I can tell the technical differences between different games and/or platforms quite easily, even if I agree with phil that art direction makes a big difference in the end result.

So, stop trying to start a PCvsConsole debate here.
