My goodness, this game is amazing! I went online and got someone who was willing to allow me to learn, and the last battle we had we had a 29 round slugfest! Amazing stuff, at some point I was at check with no positions owned, and just enough power to place a mage and kill one opponent. At the end of the game I still just won it, barely, so exciting! Even with a sun-god against me. And how sweet to be able to watch a replay afterwards!
Man, this game is amazing! I would never have guessed ... 9 tiles just didn't seem enough. Maybe it doesn't have enough depth in the long run, that I don't know, but there's a lot of cards to experiment with and decks to create, and different maps, and all that with online (with voice and textchat with USB keyboard support, which I used this time, it has a fairly clever and useful chatwindow that you can move with the analog stick or hide by pressing on the analog stick)
Love this! Amazing that they managed to do so well with this new technology, really. Cards get recognised really quickly if you've got decent lighting.
Still amazed. But right now it's almost 4:00am and it's very much time for bed, my wife'll be up in a few hours probably waking me up ...
