J&D = Jax & daxter
DMC = Devil may cry
RS3 = Rogue Squadron 3
Oni = onimusha 3 i guess?
Except for RS3 and oni3, they're all old games, J&D2 will be at E3 and i doubt we'll see and new DMC there.
I don´t see anything by Nintendo winning the show honestly, most of the time it´s either yet another game starring their "lovable" characters, or something that follows that line, but that´s just me
Hard to say. I agree that nintendo has no chances to get a GOTS, not against these FPS that are cherished by the western public, though in other catergories it might score some points. Nintendo will likely have the best overall lineup for consoles at this E3. With an estimated 50 titles that will be displayed at their own booth, 35 of these already confirmed by NOA and they're all 3rd party titles (likely 3/4 of them totally exclusive), and the rest being 2nd/1st party titles. And thats not counting GBA (thats right, nintendo has 2 platforms
)
This is something new from nintendo, at past e3 shows they had maybe 1 or 2 3rd party games at their booth with maybe 5 to 6 titles from their internal studios, this year they're doing the total opposite and at the sametime displaying a much larger lineup. I do think nintendo will be the public's "favorite" of the show, but when it ends down to GOTS, an overall lineup doesnt count, its about the most WOW title and half life 2 pretty much already has all chances on its side. The other nominees will simply be a question of how good they can make a trailer, MGS3 and halo 2 wont be playable at E3, they'll be in video form. Both Bungie and Konami can make awesome movies that make the crowd hyped, so this is more of a job for a movie producer than a game producer
(i have to remind you that E3 2002 GOTS was shown on video to the public, doom3 and console game of the show was MGS2, another trailer)
