Fifa and Top Spin 2 were available last week.

Good thing I am allowed unlimited bandwidth, if only I could get my "Download Queue" wish.

Since Uno will be up, I wonder if they will do a surprise release of the Cam too?

From xbox.com

Xbox 360 Camera: This often-rumored of camera has been hiding in the shadows long enough, and E3 2006 is ready to shine the spotlight on the secretive peripheral and allow Microsoft to set the record straight on video chat and gesture gaming.

Does that mean in the next Fifa/PES when the Ref makes a bad call on a foul I can politely 'gesture' toward the TV and have the have the ref change his mind?

Yeah, from Yellow Card to Red Card, if I am imagining your "polite" gesture.

And then I get sent off from my own game and have to watch the console play on it's own. Or worse, get a two match suspension and have to run the next two matches with only AI players.

Downloaded a few of the trailers and speeds were actually pretty good. None of the trailers are HD though. All looked to be 480p. I added a approximate size of each trailer I downloaded above.

1up says there is a LOST PLANET DEMO!

I haven't seen it on my list yet, but when it does appear...I'm all over it.

Went home for lunch and was surprised to get some half decent speeds, downloaded the TestDrive demo at around 250-320 KB/s. I'd like it if it were around 3x's faster, but hey can't complain with 300k.

Looks like I missed the LP demo though...looking forward to some TestDrive when I get home.

(on a related note: did they finally fix the resume function in the dashboard? my demo DL died, and on resume it actually identified the correct % remaining  )

Some random first impressions

Wow Bullet Witch is just looking shockingly last gen. I mean if first impressions count for anything, who could possibly have approved that trailer.

Brothers in Arms sure looks nice (in the Trailer) but certainly quite a bit apart from what some screenshots alluded to.

Rain looked interesting at first (what i make out to be cg footage) and rather meh later on (could easily be confused with splinter cell 3 : xbox footage imho).

Lord of the Rings II looks like, well..., Lord of the Rings II. Seems to be a straightforward port from the pc version.

Downloading TestDrive at the moment

Well TestDrive is somewhat of a mixed bag. The idea is clearly Amped III on wheels with online tossed in. So far so good, that's quite an interesting premise, imho, but the execution is somewhat lacking. Graphics are mediocre, car handling is off and driving/crash physics feel out of place (there are however many things going on, such as power/phone wires swinging in the wind, etc.) After about 5 mins of playing, the demo crashed hard on me...

Stranglehold looks interesting

I played TDU. Apparantly it has a 14min timelimit. Being in Hawaii I wanted to drive around and see how accurate it is, but with where they start you out it is quite difficult. Haunama Bay didn't look quite right, so I am worried. Overall it seemed to be fun (the driving itself). The cars do feel different from each other. It locked up on me when the time expired though.... Oh and seeing others drive around was kinda cool. It made the game world seem more alive...

I kept the Stranglehold trailer.. I thought the game looked like it would be tons of fun, plus I am a John Woo /Chow Yun Fat fan...
