Dragon Age III: Inquisition. Standard official discussion thread [XO,PS4,PS3,X360]

do the day one update fixes the frame rate? i played without the update and the game runs with stutters non-stop.

:(

btw how to login to Origin on PS4? i keep pressing NEXT button countless time but the screen wont progress. It stays on the password screen.

EDIT:
i really liked the way varrick break the 4th wall :p

EDIT2:
what L3 is used for?

When you log into the game opening menu. There should be a login icon at he bottom left hand corner. If you don't see it but you see that it's already acknowledged your Origin profile it means you are already logged in.

Hope that helps!

yeah i pressed triangle to login but i cant login. stuck in the password screen. Its as if i did not pressed the "next" button.

maybe a bug with the region mashup.

game disc - asia
PS4 - asia
Origin account - asia
PSN account - US

the game correctly transform my button from X cancel / O confirm to X confirm / O cancel. But maybe the origin overlay menu got confused. Gotta ask the annoying EA sussport tommorow then

btw @iroboto
the game will progress as slow as this as long you have played or the pace got faster later on?

You might be ahead of me in the game, I've actually restarted ;)
The game should apparently start to pick up after Hinterlands I believe. As Hinterlands serves as a 'semi' tutorial on how to run the inquisition and on how to obtain 'power'. I think if you bolt through it the real game takes off. If you are finding the game is slow, skip the side quests (as you can always come back to it later), as the main campaign is already 85 hours. But keep your eyes out on crafting materials and what not.

edit: It's also best to look at the game as your party, you own all your characters. So definitely lead or walk around with the character that should tank the damage and cycle through appropriately. I wouldn't use the tactical mode until you can't beat the battle, tactical mode is great but great slows down gameplay. If you are playing on insane mode, you'll likely have to use it all the time. On hard mode you can get away with not using from what I've seen so far.

i restarted the game twice but now i think ill stick with the Horn-monster character.

i currently blitzed the game. just keep running, skipping enemies lol.

I am so interested in Hinterlands that I refuse to go ahead even though the game is asking me to go back to the War Table and go to the next area. Hinterlands itself is so big !

BTW, how does one go back to the War Table anyways? I mean how to teleport to the home base? I will have to do it sometime :p

lol during the restarts I've completely skipped past dialogue by smashing 'X'.

@RenegadeRocks still trying to figure that out LOL. I'm not sure! You might need to complete the main quest storyline there first before moving back to the war table.

Found it. Press Triangle over the Quest Map to go to world map and then travel to Haven.

Ah nice! Perfect I can totally bolt if I need to. Hmm you love the hinterlands eh? Lol I got schooled by the thugs. Rift mobs are much easier to kill for some reason.

Not really enjoying this game much, the interface not as user friendly as it could be and its hard see things on screen at times.... It just feels like a lot of work to get up and running.

i just got the meeting room for 1st time then i fell asleep with my vita lol
i wonder why in the morning now my PS4 and vita is turned off :/

i found the fix for the horrible stutter

1. disable game mode on TV
2. enable motion super smooth mode

this game works really fine with the added lag and i no longer disturbed by stutter haha :D
on the plus side, without game mode, the picture also looks better. How should i put this... more vibrant?

EDIT:
fix for the silent world (really, only crows making sound?) i just play destiny music in background lol

this game is very confusing.

at first i keep getting confused which one is main quest and which are not. Now the quest tell me to go to "Iron Banner at Storm Coast" but where is it? O_O
its nowhere on the map and the quest side-bar did not give any description.

worse, googling only show useless walkthrough. they simply say "Go to storm coast" as if everybody know where or what is storm coast.

Go to your map, hit triangle and you get the world map...choose the storm coast.

If no storm coast is available, you need to go to Haven first...go to your strategy room and there you can send someone to discover/investigate the storm coast mission...which is then unlocked on the worldmap.

Btw, I am loving this game. Super nice graphics, very cool world, lots to do. Mage for the win...looking forward to unlock the mystic knight class!

I don't understand the HL complaints...quoting John F.K., "I am a Hinterlander".
