No, not all games use it.

But most EA and every 1st party game I have does.

Out of the dozen GCN games I own the ONLY one that does not support ProScan is TimeSplitters Great game too--could have benefited from it.

Btw, ProScan looks a LOT better IMO. I run it on a 21" monitor and it looks great (I have a modded GCN Component cable with a VGA out).

Proscan.. ? Ill be using it on a 57" HDTV. Not a PC monitor.

The component cable does progressive scan (i.e. 480p).

Mario Kart works in ProScan
Wave Race works in ProScan

Do not know about RE4

Sweet, thanks. Just got RE4 today in the mail. ($30 used) Now I was the component cables, was just curious if other games would benefit from it, as we still play Kart and Party a lot.

Even if the games are interlaced, you can still benefit from using the component cable since it gives you better image quality than S-video.

Yes, it benefits all games, but those that support 480p benefit the most. Most good games on the Cube support 480p.
