Diablo III - It's official

Not really sure the best way to adapt to this. On T4 I can still basically sit back and let my minions wreck everything, tossing out a few firebombs here and there. I switched to Dire Bats, which hits harder than anything I've had, but my mana won't hold out (vampire bats have no channeling cost so I never worried about mana...). On T5-6 I can walk around selectively nuking the beasties, but to handle large, sustained mobs I'm either going to develop a serious blue potion addiction or lose a lot of gold.

Are there any items that would force my dmg to be be fire?

The new power curve makes this pretty easy. My wizards is now walking through T8 solo and with the right team comfortable doing 45-50 rifts.

Just started a S4 Monk on Saturday. Lvl 60 now, hoping to get to 70 tonight/tomorrow and then having fun trying to collect Legendaries. They seem to have upped the drop rate a lot from when I originally levelled my Demon Hunter back when the game was released.

Leg drop rate is indeed vastly higher compared to from launch, but then again it has to be, since they removed the auction house. Otherwise you'd basically never complete any best-in-slot gear setup, because you'd get bored of the game long before putting in the 10,000+ hours needed to find everything. :p

Of course, that doesn't even account for agility appearing on wizard gear or intellect on barb gear and so on as was the case back then. If they'd kept that completely fucked-up system you'd really been screwed. ;)

Yeah, I basically haven't played since Loot 2.0 appeared. Up to level 62 now. I'm actually running through the story again (rather than just sticking to Adventure mode) which I suspect isn't the most efficient way to level.

Solo'd a GR53 the other day. Had a quick game today and finally found the missing item I needed which doubles my damage output. Can't wait to see how high I can push this build.

I'm running a Uliana's monk with all the crit chance rolled off and using the broken promises ring that gives me 5 seconds of 100% crit chance after 5 non-crit hits. It basically crits all the time.

The other build I'm playing is the nuts healer monk. I heal the party for more than their total life every second. Sailed through some 4 man GR55's with noone dropping below 90% health. Nice to finally have a proper healer in Diablo 3.

Is that the Lion's fist weapon that gives you 14 strikes instead of 7? Also, boost me!

@tabs
Lol, your guys are so nuts, I don't know how the hell you do it. :D

Still waiting for my WD wand that makes poison darts pierce, it just doesn't want to drop. It hasn't dropped a single time at all (on live realms) on any of my guys, ever.

I have a couple of those. Is there any way I can toss you one? I don't think that used to be possible but this game seems quite a bit different now.

@homerdog
Naw, you can't toss people gear anymore unless you were in the same party when it dropped. A bit sad, but you can see where they come from with that decision... Thanks for the offer tho! (And I'm back playing WoW for the most part anyway, so... Ho hum...)

What!!!, I know your a super generous guy but......

I'm so sorry I couldnt resist :D
Don't worry, he's not getting my GTX970 :D.

My entire stash is full of Witch Doctor gear, 95% of which I will never use. I need to get rid of a whole lot of it to make room for this new stuff.

A shame I'm about to throw something Grall needs dearly into the scrap heap. As there is no way to get a whiskey in this game I'll throw out an unlimited health potion with it. :yes:

How far have you got?
In WoW? Bit off-topic that, isn't it? :)

In D3, my best character is in T5-T6 roughly. Not too awesome survivability, but quite decent damage overall.

@homerdog
If you got many of these, absorb one of the crappier wands into your cube, keep the best one if you need to equip one one day, pulverize the rest at your blacksmith. It's a great wand for zunimassa WDs. Probably the best weapon - either as a cube effect or equipped directly, depending on what other wands there are out there which I've never seen drop either, hah. ;)

Yeah I'll boost you no problems if that's what you want. My battlenet thingy is tabs#1161. If you play monk I can drop loot for you.

No that damned lions claw I have had more than ten drop already (still no ancient) before I got the Fist of Az'turrasq (sp?). Was very pleased to see that the fist had rolled the max 100% on it's legendary affix and is also ancient. Good things come to those who wait! The fist doubles my damage output.

Desperately need some more Ramaldini's Gifts though. Burned through a couple earlier on less than ideal weapons.
