vanguard playlist does not have nightfall. If it does, then the game bugged?

about no matchmaking for Heroic and Nightfall strike... thats how bungie meant to be played and i think its a weird decision. Btw i have not done the weekly strike, its a phogoth. its a loooong strike although not hard with cheese.

It does and you can't do any matchmaking. It is close to impossible to finish most bosses in Nightfall without some cheesing cause of the shields, high numbers, high damage and that you return to orbit when all die (meaning everyone wants to play it safe and cheese). And I think this is where game design needs to be shat on, because it makes the game artificially harder rather than making it hard in a clever way so that it's challenging enough for players to allow some room and not so unforgiving that cheesing becomes the most viable option.

Also notice the icon inside the red square, I don't know what that is but it's definitely something.

I don't know. I think I'm done with Destiny. This past weekend I couldn't even find a team to do the CE raid with. It seems like everyone who still plays it does it early, so when the weekend rolls around it's dead in raid land. Maybe with no cheese, no one wants to do it anymore?

I don't know. I think I'm done with Destiny. This past weekend I couldn't even find a team to do the CE raid with. It seems like everyone who still plays it does it early, so when the weekend rolls around it's dead in raid land. Maybe with no cheese, no one wants to do it anymore?

my group is raiding non stop, man. Can't ind a place to join :-/

Why did u make 3 warlocks?

With how terrible my luck was in VoG in regards to gear, I deleted my titan and hunter to have 3 warlocks to triple my chances of getting raid gear so I could hit 32. Plus the Warlock has always been my favorite class.

The crota raid has been the complete opposite though... I've been getting gear like crazy. I was able to pick and choose which armor had the best stats. Pretty happy with the gear I have on my warlocks.

Nah, the cheese has little to do with it. Lots of people still want to do the raid.
But like you said, most hardcore raiders do them within the first few days of the reset. My clan does it 3 times on reset day. I have a semi-regular raid group that does it right at the reset. Then I usually do it with my clan or others on my friends list later in the day.

If you're having troubles finding people, the messageboards seem to work well.
Bungie really needs to add matchmaking. They're making it difficult for people wanting to do the best part of Destiny.

I know there is this one particular Indian group that has a lot of people, enough to make two teams of 6 for raids. I play with these guys as no one else here in UK among my friend list plays it.

yes, although with PS4 I don't even get to see my profile picture once I linked my facebook to it.

Kinda irrelevant but, got Up For Anything auto rifle as my first nightfall reward. So yeah basically nothing.

Interestingly though was doing nightfall and well, I try to keep everything Arc right? so, Fatebringer, Patience and Time, and Song of Ir Yut was my loadout. On the four wizards part, probably the hardest part of that strike, my partner is casually taking them out with Gjallahorn. Yep, even on an arc strike it seems Gjallahorn is way more effective there. Neat, with that info I could probably solo it pretty easily with a bit of patience. I would then have to give up P&T, and I dont think I currently have an arc legendary sniper, but no big deal I could grab that vendor model.

I've been getting back into solo-ing a bit, I think with the change to make group strikes easier everything got REALLY hard to solo. Went from solo-ing most nightfalls to needing group even on weekly. Now I'm back to more and more solo-ing weekly, and could probably do some nightfalls. Because I think the achieving of level 32 kind of started bringing difficulty a bit more to prior balance. It saves so much time to just run through them with a team though, so it kinda depends on mood/time available.

My plan was to 2X normal raid yesterday, and then try hard mode through the rest of the week, figuring there would probably be quiet a lot of failing involved initially so anything from HM would be gravy. However I didn't manage to get around to the normal raids yet.

If only switching the Heavy load out wouldn't lower the ammo. So you either depend on ammo drops in an area you can reach safely or Ammo Synthesis with 5min timer. Really annoying feature.
