Could you bring the "PC Forums"/"PC Games" link back to the Consoles forums, please moderators? Thx!

Clutter? W....T....H....? Do we live in the same plante, BRiT? Adding a third link in every single console forum to a PC forum is overcluttering the forum? I wouldn't call having to go to the main forum to find an effin' link overcluttering, it's worse the other way around.
I am mostly a console gamer but I have more than 200 PC games purchased at GoG and other services and I feel this is discriminative and logistically inefficient and not meant for speed.
I think I am going to create a poll and listen to what people have to say.
Add a bookmark to your own browser and put it wherever you want on your toolbars if its such a bother to navigate to.
Poll created!! I created the poll instead so people can vote and share their opinion, that's a good idea though, but I have over a thousand bookmarks, I don't see myself doing that.
Plus, I miss the connection between the people of the PC forums and these forums.
The two dont mix. They really don't. We asked if folks wanted the gaming forums combined and they said they would leave if they were. So they're fully separate now.
They were always fully separate, and the thing is that I rather prefer them not to be merged. But that single link was enticing and it was easy to use links from familiar, common games in both forums rather quickly without all the hassle we have now. I am off to bed. I am curious about the poll..

Exclusives aside, most franchises are going to the PC together with the new consoles anyway, so what's the problem?

Btw, why the game threads separate in the 1st place? Is it because PC and console threads are separate? I always thought that the actual games thread should be combined because a lot of the games are cross platform. It's weird, especially using Tapatalk, if you just glance at the title and you click it and it talks the same thing about what you wanted to talk about, but actually the wrong place because you play on PC while the thread is for the console version.
Even though consoles are PC to some extent there will be talk PC people don't care about, like performance and resolution, on the other hand console people will likely not care about PC gfx options...
Sure if it's about gameplay it could be shared... in theory, since PC don't have the same input devices as consoles either...

Consoles are PCs and PCs are consoles these days. I've never owned actual console but most of my games are console games that I play via PC (not emulator, but real multi platform releases). These games are designed for consoles, they share consoles legacy issues but allow bit more advanced graphical options. Only real difference is mouse + keyboard support or not. To have own PC games board, rather then general games board makes less sense then to have separate Nintendo games board.

I changed the poll descriptions because they were biased. Maybe not necessary, but for some reason I feeling extra pedantic and professional.
Hah that's interesting, I always used to use the pc link from here to check that forum and when it was removed I just assumed that forum got deleted since it wasn't very active anyways. Haven't been there since lol, but I see now that it's still alive just accessed from elsewhere.
I don’t agree with the PC link adding clutter (simple link). However, I do agree with BRiT and Rodéric, that PC & console gaming should reside in their own designated areas - including links.
That's exactly my situation. It was veeeeeeery easy to go back and forth, back and forth between both forums, sharing similar news when they affected the same game -say Diablo 3 for instance-, plus easily engaging in conversations with different people and dissimilar tastes/interests. It enriched the interaction on both forums, now it does exist but it's a hassle to go to the PC forums.
I think the previous and elegant way... PS4, Xbox and Nintendo forumers can easily live with PC forumers, especially in a time when PC gaming is blooming and reigning again.
heheh, I felt pedantic and self-important when I created the poll -like a Mega Man-
, but I kind of had a hunch it would be handled in a professional and careful way later on --via B3D standards. Still the yes is winning and there are more people -favouring the yes, indecisive- who could live with the feature than the other way around.The problem is what joker454 and I are pointing out, there is no easy way to share impressions between forums and circumvent the hassle now.
PC gaming has become more important now, the E-sports are so popular nowadays that the news says they are going to surpass the Superbowl finals in audience 5 years from now.

The egg came first. Giving birth to live young involves the evolution of abandoning egg laying. Not the other way around.
Egg shells are a product of reptilian evolution and birds are descended from reptiles. I imagine if the chicken came first there would be existence or some proof of existence of birds bearing live young. All birds lay eggs so its kind of hard to put forth the notion that the chicken came first.
