Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) (SARS-CoV-2) [2020]

As a person who has two kids I don't think it is good to coddle and protect them to much. There is a risk in climbing trees but it is much better doing that than staying on the ground. Also, if you keep them away from other kids they will never develop their immune system properly which might have bad consequences when they get older.

As a person who has two kids I don't think it is good to expose them to a deadly pandemic that's mutating to affect younger people because too many people are too foolish not to get the vaccine and mask up. Also, people don't develop good immunity to covid after getting it. The vaccine is still more effective as there have been a statistically significantly larger amount of breakthrough cases among people who've already had covid and those who've been vaccinated.

Yeah it is, propaganda to try and downplay the seriousness of this pandemic and how it's NOT going away it's actually on the rise again.

Applying your own "logic", the kids didn't die due to masks but because of something else, so the masks are not to be blamed, right?
But yeah sure, COVID doesn't kill and we're being lied to.

Insignificant amount of people to let that be a factor in making countrywide makro-level policy decisions.

And does it not bother you that many of those choosing not to be vaccinated are doing so based on lies, misinformation and conspiracy theories ?

There are unfortunate aspects in that, a failure of society on some level, but at the end of the day it's on them. Most of them will be fine regardless.

Vaccines do not confer 100% immunity. People who choose not to be vaccinated are choosing to put EVERYONE at risk. They are also prolonging the pandemic putting stresses not only on individuals health, but healthcare systems and the economy.

The effectiveness of vaccines goes up dramatically when most everyone is vaccinated.
