Capcom's Deep Down

Diablo 3 randomn levels add a lot to the replays. The game is all abotu replays, the first time is just th ebegining of your play session. They also have special quests hidden on those levels, which you 'find' each time as the layout is never the same. If not for the randomn levels, I would have stopped played D3 completely. All levels have this exploration and gameplay fun due to the randomness. On higher difficulties even the monsters get randmon attributes which makes every lpaythrough as much fun.

I am all in for randmon levels in Deep Down. Adds to the replays when u never know whats around th enext corner.

Good to know. I was kinda bored throughout the whole game honestly. It maybe the perspective or the story... who knows... i may try nightmare level now. I was only at level 30 when i completed NORMAL mode.

i actually preferred Dungeon Seige to Diablo.

yup, the game is extremely easy on normal and nothing really happens till the end. Start your second playhtorugh on Nightmare+Master Level 1 or 2 and go for 4 player co op online, the game suddenly shows you its true colours  ! Normal is just there to level up your base character, I guess.

A bit OT but Blizzard just announced they removed the auction house for balance reasons :lol

I always felt D3 was more of a stock market / Ebay simulator than a hack n slash loot game.

But they are calling it a reading RPG, basing the dungeons on objects, memories and emotions. To some degree there should be story telling in the dungeons. Capcom's stories are often pretty crazy though. Dragon's Dogma was kind of impressive in how well it tied gameplay mechanics into the story.

You have a point.
I though think that visiting a dungeon, even an "antonymous" one randomly generated, with other players could be enough to make it "special" and keep the experience fresh.

What a downgrade. E3 demo clearly too good to be true (as expected).

So you've played the final version of the game? awesome, where can I get a copy?. I will admit that at this point that the game doesn't quite meet the tech demo but they are still a far off releasing.

I doubt they will match what they showed at E3, but the game is still probably close to a year from release and it already looks good.

Looks pretty good. Shame the pictures are so low res. It's one of those games that will look substantially better in motion.

Is it just me or do the dragons look like they're in a state of de-evolution from flight capable beasts? The wingspan ratio to body mass makes them look like a Dodo. And what's the basis of their wings all full of holes as if decaying? There's obviously exits from those caverns to the outside from the screenshots and videos so it doesn't look like they're been trapped in caverns their whole lives and thus their wings have atrophied.

There are some much better quality images over at IGN

"Much Better"... do you say?!?
A part for the first image that is clearly a PR (look at the "real dragon" and fire in the in-game shots), the following in-game images are just the same...

This game is the worst downgrade I have EVER seen in a game.
And after the first incredible reveal at PS4 launch presentation, seeing these in-game shots is the worst offence I can get as a customer.

I know, I know, but each time that I see this game it look worse and worse and makes me so angry...I was so hype by the first trailer...

What a downgrade ... fron next-gen to ps2!

I am angry because I feel very cheated by Capcom and Sony, to me this lie is worst than KZ2 reveal CGI trailer.

I like this yellow quilt(?) type armor that guy is wearing. It's simple, but seems authentic. Shouldn't be long before we get some more footage at TGS.

"Much Better"... do you say?!?... yadda yadda yadda...

What a downgrade ... from next-gen to Xbox One!

I am angry because I feel very threatened by Capcom and Sony, to me this lie is worse than Ryse being downgraded to N64...

Fixed it for you :LOL::rolleyes:

It's very authentic footmans armour for the middle ages. Quilted armour that would snag weapons, usually worn with some form of leather hauberk to provide actual protection.

MMm you are quite far, to be honest... And, in truth, I do not understand what X1 have to do with the quality of this game.

But speaking about this, in truth, the infamous MP of Ryse seems generations ahead of this. At least for my eyes. And, as I have said many times, at my age I am not able to filter the judgment of the games based upon brand. Not anymore!

People, please, go back and look at the original reveal trailer, maybe you have forgotten what they have tried to make us believe this game would have been in the graphic department...

It's nice to see they're making an effort to keep the designs grounded in reality.

This game has a lot of potential I think. If they can get the variety and detail of the levels up in future updates and such along with strategic Monster Hunter like encounters it could be very fun.

Cheated? You haven't spent a penny on the game. What were you cheated out of?

I don't think the stills look that great, but you don't play still shots. It'll probably look decent enough in motion. The lighting might be pretty cool. The graphics don't look bad though. Hopefully they'll show some more soon, to get a better idea of what the environments are like. My worry is that the gameplay isn't good. What they've shown so far did not look like a lot of fun to play, but it's super early. I prefer it when they start the promotion a lot closer to release, and you see something closer to the finished product rather than getting bits and pieces of tech demos.
