Can someone recommend me a 22" TFT for 260~€?

What 22" TFT should I get for 260€? I've been looking at the samsung 226BW.

Opened a topic with the exact same question about a week ago. The 226bw seems to be a good choice, though I've been reading some more about the screen but I also hear some negative things. It seems the colors arnt that great and backlight bleeding seems to be pretty bad. That there still is the A, C and S panel problem. Unless you get a S one (made by samsung) IQ apparantly is pretty much crap. You also got the 226cw which is said to always have a S panel but that still seems to have some issues. Your best bet is probably the samsung 2232bw (not the 223bw) It has a newer panel that the 226 series, better viewing angle and better colors and less backlight bleeding and its the same price. I will probably get the 2232bw.

Thanks a lot, I saw that thread. I only created one because I was wondering about other brands, So the 2232BW would be the one to get? what if I can find a 226BW S is it better?

226 is roughly 1cm bigger, otherwise identical. I own the 223bw and it rocks (I guess t_o_c refers to the older version).

Is that 223BW or 2232BW you are talking about?

xxx is talking abou the 223bw, that one is 21.6''. The 2232bw is newer than the 226 series. What I read about it the 2232bw is better, but you might want to check it yourself, prefferably in a store so you can see for yourself.

Get the samsung 226BW, it has good display and response fast.
