I'd rather have system specs, launch plans, etc. than just more movies.

I doubt there'd be any, or any significant, new information given out in Taipei, unfortunately.

What is this guy talking about? Piracy? Thats why theres nothing playable?

TW and China (China especially, I think) are pirate land... consoles typically don't do well there because of it. PC games also have a hard time there (unless its something like an MMO which is rather impossible to play without an actual purchase of it). The statement seemed pretty accurate, I'm sure MS, Sony, and N are all more worried about piracy than their respective competitors (since its still a pretty fresh market... there would be room for all of them--at least initially--as long as they could feasibly fight piracy).

There were hopes that the PlayStation 3 would turn up at this week's Taipei Game Show in playable form, but those too have been dashed.

Just as at last year's E3 and Tokyo Game Show, the only PlayStation 3 hardware on the floor was encased in a plastic prison. Worse still, the curvaceous and conceptual PlayStation 3 controller, scourge of many, was still being shown off.

I don't even think Sony needs a PR team to keep the PS3 on every gamers mind. Their fans are so rabid they just makeup things like this ahah.
