the game looks like BF3 and the destruction are very limited. For BF3 players, the jump to BF4 maybe feels too little/too gradual.

at least for me, its like that.
It feels like an expansion pack with the limited map, vehicle, play-style, graphic, audio, and game mode of BETA.
I was also a BFBC1 and BFBC2 player, so the destruction on BF4 did not awe me and did not give me the freedom of strategy like it was used to on BFBC series.

So in one game, its usually only 2 thing happen. The skyscrapper collapse or not. Before collapse, it give the map a bit more freedom of strategy (attack from roof, attack from lift, put C4 near lift, circle it with heli, etc). After collapse, its just bland. The snipers will just camp and i cant collapse the other buildings at all.

Heli cant kill them because heli take off = SOFLAM-ed and RPG-ed without beep beep beep (just long beep, BF4 missing the short-fast beep that available on BF3)

btw the best game mode are conquest small. Because only in that mode, a helicopter spawn in a nice delay. And only in that mode, a small helicopter is available.

how much server running conquest small on console? on PC theres only 2 servers.

I wont be buying it until its heavily discounted, I dont trust dice to do a first class job.
BF3 - rebind the controls = game cannot be completed. Thats poor by anyones standard add to that they cant be bothered to fix it.
 
DICE have a nice video editor/director. Their scene always MUCH more intense in video promo than in gameplay.
 
yeah some of the BF moments are awesome to experience and EA has successfully show it on "only in battlefield" videos. But for the pre-defined moments, it does not felt intense (the skyscrapper collapse in bf4, the tower on b3)
 
Not too excited about BF4 just because the experience of BF3 varied so wildly based on who the other 11 players on my team were (I played on PS3). 11 other players who made some attempts at objectives made for an awesome game. What was far more typical was a team made up entirely of Recons with poor aim and Engineers who could not be bothered to shoot at a vehicle.

Plus if there was no one on your team who was a really good pilot on the maps with air support, you might as well quit.

Considering I just can't pilot well in BF3, I definitely missed good pilots on my team some times. A good chopper on enemy team, when you have none,can rain hell on you. But thats more of your team's problem and his talent ;) , not the game. One is supposed to go prepared into war :D ! Everyone spawn as engineers and take him down.

As for BF4, I have it pre ordered, but yes, I am not that excited any more. but if the maps come out good, it might pull me in without a problem. DICE makes wonderful maps !

okay pre ordered BF4 for 45 dollar. gotta pay the money today thru ATM in this bloody heat noon sun.

btw BF4 little bird on shanghai map was awesome. It can evade lots of missile lock-on by flying recklessly to the skyscrappers.

Some spot are too narrow to be used on evade maneuver but most skyscrapper near the Left spawn are good. Right spawn are bad (seen from our posisition, not from the map position).

If I'm having fun about 15% of the time in a game, it's the game's fault. My basic issue with team-based games is that the bigger the team is, the more helpless I am when the average player on my team is your average Internet idiot who is trying more to make a sick sniper montage for YouTube than play the objectives. Same reason I rarely play Domination alone in COD.

Could server hosts set vehicle spawn times? Because the last game I played, it seemed like the enemy heli was typically back in the air within about 30 seconds of taking it down.
