What i find sad is that Posh&Becks have become THE UK symbol for the world. The new Royal Family. The sad part is that we're talking about a thick footballer and a totally talentless "singer" (using the term VERY loosely here)... He might be the hottest guy ever to kick a ball, but come on...

Agreed, but they represent in theory at least what the majority of brain dead britons want "niceness". Where the royal family is far too Posh, the Beckhams despite their extravagances appear down to earth.

Latest news on them, they're all over the papers and HE has a new haircut... its fun to see publicity in action.

For me Beckham represents how hard work and practise can take you to the top of a mountain even if you aren't the best at what you do (and he clearly isn't the best midfielder in the world). For others he's eye candy, and most the england captain...
