Ati claiming to show a revolutionary technical advance

I guess I like more feminine women w/long hair.
It's not even about the long hair. Dawn/Dusk managed to look quite feminine with rather short hair.

Trinity from the Matrix wasn't all that attractive, either (IMO). But she sure could kick some serious butt. I'll bet Trinity was inspiration for Ruby.

Arguing Nalu vs. Ruby, you will get people on both sides of the fence because preferences differ quite a bit when it comes to attraction.

Incidentally, folks say environment doesn't make a difference? I guarantee if you put Nalu in the environment in which Ruby is in (in the demo), and have the action and other elements present, it would be a slide show. They are two very different demonstrations. With Nalu, they can focus all the GPU's processing power on one character. With Ruby, multiple elements are present. Or did everyone miss the face in the background on that newspaper scan of the Ruby demo?

You might say it'd be like a fish out of water. (Quite literally in fact - I'm not sure what a demo of a mermaid flapping around, making wet slapping noises on the ground would be trying to show...) :?

;)

I am not gonna be able to get the mental image of Nalu flopping around as a tech demo out of my head for the rest of the day, and it's gonna crack me up each and every time!

Bastagious!

Worked for that '84 Tom Hanks movie.

Eh, I'd do her.

Now there's the attitude I like to see!! 8)

I have to side with martrox, beggars shouldn't be picky.
Not to offend anyone, but if we were model quality, we'd be on the cover of GQ not in this forum ;)

You could give her an anti-grav belt. That would be very entertaining to watch someone get bitch-slapped by a fish tail. :D

Guess you don't go for girls with tails, then? Talking of which, this always raises the delicate subject of how exactly do mermaids procreate? I guess even Nvidia won't have modelled, erm, all aspects of the anatomy... ummm.

 Well there was that episode of Futurama where they discovered the lost city of Atlanta (Georgia)... which sank into the sea and the coca cola plant's output mutated everyone into merfolk... XD Fry married a mermaid only to flee when he found out that on the wedding night she was just going to lay her eggs and expected him to fertilize them. Spawning just doesn't have the same appeal.

Dave, you made me spit my coffee all over my laptop at work!

I think the thread has derailed a tiny bit...
