BFBC2 singleplayer of second area. DX10, 1680x1050, 4xAA/TSAA + Wide Tent (8xAA and creates slight bluriness), 16xAF, max settings + HBAO. D3DOverrider to force on vsync and triple buffering.

Shot with helis ended up with lower framerate becouse I was hitting screenshot key multiple times in sequence making hitches in framerate. Though framerate dont go below 30fps even in shitface intense battles with minimal visibility due to all effects covering up whole screen. : )

EDIT: Btw I play with 75 FOV angle vs games default 55 set in games config file.

Might turn off Wide Tent AA mode for sharper image and welcome up in framerate.

Just Cause 2 demo. Really great and fun game and the grappling hook makes you as mobile as a super monkey!

1680x1050, 4xAA/TSAA, 16xAF, max settings (for ATI DX10 so I miss out Nvidia CUDA features like Bokeh DOF effect and improved water effects). Anyway game runs great, smooth and destroying stuff has never been as satisfying before!

The slight bluriness at distance is depth of field and it has to be seen in motion as there is also an athmosphere heat haze effect that really looks good and suits the hot environment. Game is also impressively colorful.

Well the bokeh filter does 3 things for me:
1) Makes the background too blurry
2) Drops FPS by ~40% (wtf?)
3) Causes my game to freeze almost instantly

You're missing out :D

Assassins Creed 2 is blowing my mind - it is stunning, absolutely stunning.

It is like a dream come true. They recreated renaissance Florence and it is an absolute marvel.

Playing it with the xbox 360 controller and it handles like a dream. This is a gamepad game for sure.

Main criticism of graphics so far: I really wish there was an option for even higher quality shadows - they can be quite jaggy in places, and they noticeably change with distance which is distracting.

Other than that I am very positive on the graphics. I suppose character models could have been a little better I suppose- they are no Mass Effect 2.

Just show these screens to someone 10 years ago

Photo realistic environments? We are getting there, that's for sure!

I was thinking that during the chopper scene.. Can you imagine some flatshaded 2000 poly guy withe one single 32x32 texture?

BC2 actually comes to a point where my wife starts to say that it starts looking a bit real.

Damn the PC ver looks nice (textures a lot cleaner). Anyway it's hard to tell from the screens but is the agressive texture streaming still present as seen in the console ver? Well I'll know soon enough since my copy should be here soon.

The light and shadows in Metro 2033 is the best in any game ever. Period. Better than Crysis and the underrated but brilliant Risen.

Holy Crysis and not just those images but all I've seen ranging from medium to v.high in different sites posted by PC Gamers and gameplay videos. Game looks utterly amazing and just next to Crysis like no other game. Heck even low looks nice as does 360 version which seems to be low + perhaps some bits more. And gameplay seems amazing and right up my alley!

Ahh friday cant come fast enough.

I love this little scene from very early in the game - a boy is playing and talking to his father - looks phenomenal and is quite touching, setting the mood nicely.

Metro 2033. This game is gorgeous!

4890 slightly overclocked and Q8200 @ 2,8Ghz. Seems to run playably (some dips below 30fps in the very first outdoor scene) @ 1920x1200, DX10, High settings, 'AAA'.

MSAA or very high settings rape my 4890. I wish I had a 5850/70 so I could enable very high if only for those ridiculously high res textures
