Any chance the PS3 GPU is based on the gen after G70?

    Whatever it is, G70/G80/Custom, it's a big chip.
    300M transistors, presumably without the Video Processor, is quite big for a part destined for an embedded system.

    So, who should we believe? According to Kutaragi, a lot of people are not in the know. (It also seems Nvidia is one of them.) :p
