A bad time to buy a new graphics card??

So you wouldn't wait a few weeks for the r300 to be announced/released which will drop the prices on a gf4? Then you could get a gf4 for less than you would now.

As I said, it depends what you are upgrading from.
Like myself, my Voodoo card was finally ended when Sof2 and UT2003 ran like utter garbage. Now was a great time to upgrade, due to the 149$ price tag on a Gf4Ti4200, which this card is very rock solid.

For only 150 bones I saw almost a quad-druble(sp) increase in FPS, and image quality that is by far superceeding. I never seen or expierenced a upgrade with that big of difference for that price in aloooong time (probably the upgrade from 64 to 256 of ram was the last i can think of) I couldn't wait 2 weeks... I wanted to play those games now.
