Screenshots of Ridunkulous Quality and Size! Part Deux [2023+]

Space Marine 2 on PC with the 4K texture pack download. The lighting is certainly last generation, but the game has a sharp interesting look with very high quality textures.

yeah i found it dissapointing when it comes to graphics, sadly, felt very last gen to me. Also combat is not so good imo, after 5-6 hours i completly lost interest in this game. Weird i was so sure this is gonna be mine GOTY.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Screenshots were taken after the latest update which added ray reconstruction and local light shadows.

These are on UHD at DLSS Ultra Performance mode which is a very low 720p base resolution. Thanks to the new DLSS4 and ray recontsruction transformer model the picture is mostly very well smoothed. For some, it may be a little blurred on the monitor due the short distance to the screen but if you play on a TV the sharpness is still good and the overall impression totally convinces me. It looks filmic.

Taking screenshots in this game without HUD is annoying because after disabling the HUD via config I cannot enable it again

The statues in the 5th picture were a moving puzzle and with path tracing it looked very cool illuminated. Offline rendering lighting quality for moving objects.

I find it very difficult to take good looking screenshots in Control, because most of the game just really doesn't look very good. Often times the high contrast lighting is used to hide the low resolution textures and low geometry rooms, and in well lit areas it all breaks down. Without the fancy lighting it looks very much like an Xbox 360 era game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - round 3

When the game becomes more linear it's the most visually impressive and offline rendered looking I've seen to date even surpassing Cyberpunk 2077. It all looks even more awesome in motion.
I'd rather play in UHD with Ultra perfromance transformer DLSS (720p) and highest settings with amazing pathtracing than playing with a higher base resolution and no pathtracing.

Unfortunately, the female character is constantly running into the picture which really annoys me when I take pictures. The problem with the HUD is still there. I have to use the config every time I want to switch off the HUD. After that, you can no longer switch the HUD on using the config.

Wow, I had no idea this game could get that pretty...

I hadn't realised that before but it's actually true.

I wouldn't have expected it either. However, they have also noticeably upgraded the games graphics after release with DLSS Transformer, Ray Reconstruction and local light RT shadows.

In December the game didn't look quite as good to me as it does now. I then took a break and started again after this previously mentioned updates were added.
