Movie Reviews 2.0

I seen Revenge of the Creature the other day. Quite a good film for its time. Shirley Temple's former husband is the star, and he spends a lot of time prodding the Gill-man in a large swimming tank, until it snatches his lady. But the creature was just being vicious due to it being cornered while chained to the base.

I also just watched the Venom movie it's ok
fun fact : Tom Hardy co wrote the story
ps: For some reason I have a desire to watch the original StarWars seen it a few times but the last time I watched it was at least 20 years ago

Just watched LEVELS.

Its like the matrix, 13th floor, etc mashed up together into mediocrity.

Oh and the whole thing is basically already spoiled by the title, and was presented in a less clever way than free guy.

Watched that myself last night, pretty much agree with your take.

I preferred boss level than it or freeguy.

Going to go watch Deathgasm tonight to cleanse the pallet after hysteria didn't really go where I thought it would from the trailer.

Really enjoyed The Substance, fantastic visual body horror with some great cinematography. Demi Moore is amazing in the role and her transformation. Definitely some squeamish moments for me during it, which surprised me.

That last 30 minutes was pretty mental, was kind of like seeing what a modern troma film would be like.

Yeah, Darren Aronofsky meets Troma for sure.

The final scene is was cool to hear Anna Von Hausswolff snippet of music from Ugly and Vengeful.

Watched Not of This Earth, which is a zero budget sci-fi film by Roger Corman, that was released as part of a double bill.

This alien man basically just wears sunglasses and zaps people, or something, to obtain a blood supply. Uses telekinesis at a paper stand to tell a woman their plans. Ends up talking to an alien boss of his through mind power, but he is in an enclosed space that kind of looks like a wardrobe. LOL.

But it was alright.

Just saw a trailer for the new Captain America
why is the dude with the wings now Captain America and why is the Hulk red?

Captain America gives Falcon the shield at the end of Avengers Endgame. Falcon becoming Captain America is a story line from the comics. Red Hulk is a dumb character from the comic books.

Star Trek Nemesis is massively under-rated.

Best ship to ship battle ever in Star Trek.

But there are more pressing matters.

Why has America Americaned at a time like this?

Watched Black Cab last night, was ok but it's another where you have seen the majority of the good bits in the trailer. Not overly scarey, more like a ghost drama like that netflix house on haunted hill series.

I also saw Bagman recently, don't waste your time on that one.
