ZOE2

How did ZOE2 sell in Japan?
In Europe and usa, the robot mech games haven't been as popular, so it maybe it was expected that zoe's would not be a hot seller.
In western world, it seems you don't see many games in top charts that don't have a human main character(s).

Don't think it was a million-seller, but you can be sure Zoe did much better there than anywhere else. Which is a shame.
Some of the best games this generation have been largely overlooked, having the effects that any sequels or games similar to those could not be made in the future, simply because it's not profitable to the publishers to release games like those. Thankfully some people look over the profits.
(talking about ICO).
One small little fun game i love this generation was Treasure's Stretch Panic. A little gem in its own right, which sold nothing and will never see the light of the day again.

Don't be so embarassed LB....accept I am a better player of ZOE2 :devilish:

Try playing it on Extreme Hard. Then come back here... I got a A on Extreme Hard, which i believe is only included in the PAL version (european)

My one totally biggest gripe with ZOE even after all this time since the game's release is the idiotic, stupid-ass camera. It SUCKS. Plain and simple!

It seems to go every which way except the one that is useful, and the camera joystick is inverted (it ROTATES the camera in the direction of the stick; it doesn't actually LOOK in the direction of the stick; this is entirely backwards). I'd give the game a (F)ailing grade here.

The sucky-sucky camera is the one and only reason I haven't bothered trying to play the game at higher difficulties as on some levels it is an exercise in frustration trying to get anything useful done. Whenever there is a wall nearby the camera tends to get attracted to said wall so I stare straight into it rather than at my enemies. The mission where I am in a circular corridor and have to block Viola AI with enemies is especially annoying since the walls are so damn close everywhere. On higher difficulties she kills me with like 2 charges, so when I stand there wiht my enemy shield staring into one of those damn walls I'm a total sitting duck.

Don't understand how they could release the game with a camera like this, it really sucks.
