Xfire - High Latency

I'm havin' problems with xfire. Every time I try to send a message, I end up receiving a "High Latency to server - your message may not be received" equivalent message. Anyone know what this problem is and if it can be fixed? I'm assuming it has somethin' to do with my router. I tried Googling it, but all the results point to the Xfire forum which is down for maintenance.

I don't have the answer for you, but I recommend you try Googling again and then using the Google cache to view the forum while it's down. Example (cached page from Google: xfire.com high latency)
