I don't use my 360 much these days because it's very noisy and I don't want it to red-ring on me (it's one of the still surviving original launch units) but when set to 1280*768 16:10 everything I've tried on it (not that much I admit) displays just fine. No black bars (which I detest), it stretches to fill the screen nicely.
Colours also look solid after the update that enabled you to set the dynamic range of the display. I've nothing to complain about here...
