Not really no. Pretty much the only reason I don't like the current box is because of the lameo CPU and the fact it's FRIGGIN HUGE and FUGLY. I'm still hoping both of these issues will be addressed in nextbox.
Take no offense, but those are pretty foolish reason to not like a console IMO. Obviously you're more interested in theoretical CPU benchmarks (even though xbox has the most powerful cpu out of the current consoles) and something that's pretty to look at, instead of playing games like the majority of gamers.
Sure Xbox could have been better looking, but imo who cares if it has games I want to play.
Don't agree at all. At least on that tiny blurry pic it looks cheap and toyish and plain BAD. Like a person with its eyes set too close together, this controller looks wide while the analog sticks sit close; it just looks BAD. It reminds me of a beached jellyfish, its shape sort of vague and undefined.
talk about exagerating...
Fan of some of their stuff, because Apple typically makes their stuff look GOOD, and this...thing...simply doesn't. Controller S is far preferable from a looks standpoint IMO, and I sincerely hope this is a fake render. Besides, shiny plastic is poor from a comfort standpoint because it feels sweaty and greasy to the touch.
The difference between this and controller S are minimal. The removal of the memory cards slots, sholder buttons to replace the black and white buttons, the circle of light button, and a different Dpad. The shape of it is almost identicle to controller S, so I really can't see how you can say controller S is more preferrable considering the simularities. Also teh "sheen" is a moot point if it's a prototype. as I mentioned above and you ignored, prototype Xbox 1 controllers also appeared smooth and this was changed before release.
Btw, I don't see you complaining about the smooth plastic used on PS2 controller. Or the recycled dull toyish platstics used on the gamecube controller.
I also sort of hope it's fake because there's zero innovation in this joypad design, it's just a very slight modification of tech we've already had for nearly ten years or more, unless there's like hidden tilt/biometrics sensors or something built into it.
That's complete bollocks. You can see what's inside this controller? I don't need a tilt sensor in my controller at all, no thanks. I prefer something functional. If there's only minor things wrong with a controller, then you don't need to redesign it to add gimmick-ish features.
I can't help but find holes in your reasoning on this one... Its fine to say you don't like it, but when you throw out all sort of crazy reasons why, then it seems like you're trying to hard to find reasons not to like it.
