Windows 64 bit

Hey guys my 3000+ athlon 64 is coming in . I'm going to do a fresh install as soon as my x800xt comes too. Should i update to the 64 bit windows ? is anyone running it and is it worth it ?

According to my friend (he has a 64 bits Windows system running), you may want to make sure that you can find all drivers you need before hand. Drivers for 32 bits Windows are not compatible.

And gaming is gonna be slower. That's what's been said. so you might want to hold off. I have the disc ready to install, but i'm holding off until everything has settled, not only the crappy drivers, but everything else. Some applications run marginally faster, and gaming is just slower (graphics cards 64bit drivers are not yet great, i blame that).

Is XP64 even rady yet, or do you have some beta version, in which case I'd wait until the official release, which should be faster. Unless you just want to install it for curiosity.

There is a "Trial Beta" which is downloadable from Ms website, or they can send u the CD. Havent installed it yet because i haven't heard anything to make it worth the trouble. Actually from what everyone says, it's more trouble than anything...
