Windows 2000 optimizing

what kind of optimizing are you thinking of, getting a few extra FPS, or just some stability/functionality tips?

Off the top of my head, I would say which processes can/should I turn off. I mainly mean to speed up windows itself

open up administrative tools -> services
c wot kinda services u dont need start with windows and change their start up setting to either manual or disabled...
the servives that i tend 2 set 2 manual r automatic updates, messenger, performance logs and alerts, remote registry service, task scheduler, print spooler (since i dnt have a printer.... that can free up quite a few resources... also look up for tcp/ip hardening and various NTFS options.... win2k is a very secure and powerful OS for me with quite a few hidden options
