At best, I could see Wii being comparable graphics to xbox 360, but at standard res rather than HD res.

The Wiire: Is this in-game or CG?
Arbogast: I believe it's CG, but it's going to look just like that. That was Kasumi [from Dead or Alive], so there are some Tecmo characters in the game. So the game looks great, and from what I've been told it's playing great with the Wii controllers.

I really liked the caracthers and shadows them they are like RS (trailer) ones which make me think it they are hard wired or use some special HW functions for it, anyway for what it is it looks good IMO, now I wonder if they can get that qualitity within big complexity.

Fox5 said:Well, that was FMV, but anyhow, the golf game graphics don't even look spectacular as far as real time goes, let alone FMV.

This is obviously not 'information they have received from a credible inside source', but rather just shit that that "editor" made up on the spot.
The site's completely unknown, until you just linked to it I'd never even heard of it. The whole piece - which I didn't even bother to read through all the way because it was so obviously totally fake - strikes me as an act of desperation on behalf of the site owner(s). PLEASE give us hits! We'll make something up to make you happy!

More interesting, though, Mix-Core comments that the Rebirth demo is a "reflection of what can be achieved in real-time on Gamecube." Need more? The company also offers that "a part of the [FMV] scene operates in real-time on a real [Gamecube?] machine."
IGN Wii: What are the technical differences between Prime 1, 2 and now Corruption? Are you doing anything in this game that you are, visually speaking, particularly proud of?
Bryan Walker: Each iteration of Prime, from the first up until Corruption, has really pushed the existing hardware up to its limits. We've made a lot of fundamental changes to the underlying technology of Corruption to take advantage of the additional horsepower of Wii and, of course, the new controller. You'll see things, particularly in the visuals, such as bloom lighting and a lot more pizzazz where particle effects and such are concerned. It's a distinctly better looking game than the previous iterations.
IGN Wii: Are you aiming for 60 frames per second?
Bryan Walker: Oh yes.
IGN Wii: Will the game feature anything like bump-mapping or normal-mapping?
Bryan Walker: We probably won't be focusing much on bump-mapping or embossing for this iteration. We're really focusing on our lighting effects at this point.

Taking in acount that at E3 MP3 looked like a somewhat beter textured MP2 without this kind of fxs it should improve by a good margin once they got all runing (at least in a later iteration with bump maping).
Mix Core recently elaborated on its Gamecube demonstration entitled, "Rebirth." As IGN reported in September, a portion of the video that was once thought to be pre-rendered is indeed running in real-time on Gamecube's hardware. Mix Core claims that not only is a part of the Rebirth demo running in real-time, but the entire cinematic sequence would have been made in real-time if the team would have had more time to produce the game.
You don't need any particular hardware features other than the right alpha blending mode support... Bloom is easily implemented as a low-res texture of the full scene stretched on top of the entire screen. It's a bit of a fillrate killer tho with a transparent quad covering every pixel, and Cube doesn't have too much of that as we know, so no wonder if not too many games use it.Fox5 said:Pretty sure gamecube could do bloom as well (need for speed underground, perhaps rebel strike), isn't that a feature accomplishable on dx8 hardware at the least?
