Wii Date & Price on 9/14?

Not sure if this is true because i cant find the news on IGN's page but i thought i would throw it out here. Also, not sure why Nintendo wouldnt use TGS for this info...

Matt Casamassina of IGN Wii has received an invitation from Nintendo of America to an exclusive event on September 14th, in just a few weeks time. It is likely that new information, including the price and release date, will be unveiled here. Coincidentally, September 14th was also the date that Microsoft revealed the Xbox 360's price point and release date.
