where are my pics ??

Some pictures on websites are not appearing on my PC, just the frame & a white box with red cross in the corner, noticed this over the last few days & can't discover whats caused it, any ideas ?

You or your ISP probably have connectivity problems, ie, it takes too long for the picture to download to your computer so the browser times out and shows the error symbol you see.

Try right-clicking the missing image and select "show image" in the menu that appears (this can be done with internet explorer), doing so will force the browser to try and fetch the image again. It might not work if the connection is too slow, but it might be worth a shot.

Other than that, if other sites work the way they're supposed to, either live with it or contact your ISP.
