What music are you listening to right now?

UT does like his computer generated music with autotuned vocals, allthough he did post a vid of someone who can play an instrument, if you consider a record player an instrument.

I don't remember anyone asking you to share your silly opinion in which you don't even care to tell us what's the mother fucking difference... Because if you ask me, both music styles are the most beautiful music no matter the methods this music is made with... :rolleyes:

million roll eyes :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well , its a good job I dont need your permission then isnt it ;)
are you claiming you dont like computer generated music with autotuned vocals, because you know if you are your going to loose that argument...

I have nothing against "computer generated music with autotuned vocals" but what you are doing is:

1. cavil;
2. humble

And now I am very interested what's not to like you will find here

Hmm, nothing. Really nothing. I mean it is music after all and given the choice between thousands of songs... you are free to listen to whatever fits you best. You don't need to wait me to post something that you or the others really like.... Perhaps I didn't post enough.

You see the music styles I am listening to... Mainly vocal trance and eurodance
Don't take my previous comments as criticism. I am just surprised at the quantity of music you've posted which I can't find anything I enjoy in. That's a new experience for me as I like most music.

Let me ask you a philosophical question: What is the point of this thread? For me it's to broaden my horizons by hearing things I've not been exposed to before, or being reminded of something I'd enjoyed and forgotten. In turn I post things that make me feel good and might do the same for someone else. If you really feel nothing when you listen to music that other people post, then what do you get out of this thread?

I'm not averse to trance, but I'm definitely more Sasha than Tiesto.

I think the only Tiesto thing I've really enjoyed was his remix of Oakenfold's 'Southern Sun'. It's the only thing of his I can recall hearing that had some element of soul in it, granted I've not listened to all of his stuff.

ATM Im revisting all the iron maiden albums also lou reed

Out of curiosity, I checked the first ~20 pages in this thread and saw zero mention to anyone listening to classical, except for something that was happening to be on the radio.

Debussy's Arabesque no.1

I was 13 or 14 years old away for a weekend with a youth club. One of the leaders was a rather attractive young blonde of 18 or so who I was rather taken by. She sat at a piano and played this. It was utterly enchanting. I pestered her constantly to play it over and again over the course of the weekend and it remains one of my favourite pieces of classical music.

Lately I'm in Moby mood when driving my car. I love most of Moby songs but my favourites are album - 18

This song is special to me:

and this one is just great

I bought Tim Hecker's latest album because it claimed the no.1 spot on Anthony Fantano's (http://www.youtube.com/user/theneedledrop) top 50 of 2013. I think the guy's fantastic. Love how knowledgeable he is about all things music. Love his vast and descriptive vocabulary. On Youtube he's sort of the equivalent of a unicorn.
He introduced me to quite a bit of stuff, but that Hecker album completely eludes me. Maybe I'm gonna try and get into it a little harder, but I honestly don't think it's ever going to click with me. I need at least a little bit of structure.

I am listening to this now.

Positive uplifting timeless classic which in my view is one of the best tunes ever

and also this one - because I like the style, the beat, the melody, and also the meaningful message of the videoclip

they don't make anymore music like this
