UT 2003 on my Radeon 8500

    Hmm, so maybe I should d/l it and try it on my 1700+ and V3.

    i heard only voodoo4 and above will work i.e. voodoo3 ain't gonna work :(

    D'oh, that would suck. Hopefully I'll be able to get a Radeon 8500 next week after ATI cuts the prices so I don't have to deal with the V3 not working with some games anymore.

    Thanks, I'm gonna d/l it just to see how it works with the V3. I still want to get a Radeon 8500 next week though.

    The 8500 is a great card and should run UT 2003 just fine...supporting the Voodoo 3 is a wise move since no support was offered to the owners after 3DFX went under its good to see the industry not forget about those people :)

    woohoo, so I can plug my old TNT2 Ultra in to replace the Ti4200 and enjoy UT2003 eh the oldskool way at 320x240, eh? that's gonna be fun ... ;)

    Looks like you understate the effect of a video card...
    Your 800x600 medium settings in some leaked incomplete version that is no basis for comparison became 320x240x16 in the real version. Seems video cards are a little more important than you think.
